Cookie Policy

What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites save on your device. They are used to make the site work correctly, remember your preferences and collect statistical information about usage.
Technical cookies (necessary)
These cookies are essential for the website to function and cannot be disabled. They include cookies for managing cookie consent itself (cc_cookie from vanilla-cookieconsent). They do not collect personal data for profiling purposes.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and understand how visitors interact with the site. These cookies are only set if the user accepts the 'analytics' category in the cookie banner. Data is aggregated and anonymous.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique users | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Google Analytics | Maintains GA4 session state | 2 years |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes users in the last 24 hours | 24 hours |
Virtual assistant (chatbot)
This site integrates a virtual assistant provided through the Rivinci platform. To work, the assistant stores some information in your browser's local storage (localStorage), not through cookies:
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| rinoova_rinoova-com_gdpr_ack | Records that you have read the assistant's notice, so it is not shown again on every visit. | Strictly necessary | Persistent |
| rinoova_rinoova-com_browser_id | Anonymous identifier used to resume previous conversations. Created only with your prior consent and only if chat history is enabled. | Functional | Persistent |
The first is exempt from consent because it is strictly necessary; the second is written only after your explicit consent, collected directly by the assistant.
Embedded videos (YouTube)
Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd). To protect your privacy the video is not loaded automatically: we show a preview and no data is sent to Google until you start playback. Only when you click "Play" is the video loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com domain), and YouTube/Google may set cookies on your device and process data such as your IP address. For more information see Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
How to manage cookies
You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the cookie consent icon at the bottom left or in your browser settings. For Google Analytics you can also install the opt-out browser add-on available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
